Here we sit in Guatemala, It is Phil's 37th birthday. We are enjoying our time here we finally got in at 5:00 am via LA. We were rerouted because the flight to Miami was full, we had fun learning patience yesterday. We were only 9 hours behind schedule even after our detour! And our luggage made it with us which we thought would not make it here! more later...

- PRAISE: Geronimo has given his life to Jesus! We are thrilled about this, he faithfully shows up at our house every Sunday morning at 8:45 to attend church with us! What a joy it is to see him now! Sober, happy and living a new life!
- Our fellow friend, and missionary Doug Johnson recovering from being shot in the stomach multiple times in November. Continued healing and strength for family.

We LOVE Guatemala but, some things are hard to come by here, and most of these are just simple comforts of "home" for the family. We are asked regularly what it is that teams can bring down, and to make it simple I am going to put it on here for you!

Happy Birthday Phil!!! Wow, it is already an adventure! Glad to hear you finally made it with you luggage and all. Hearing stories like that make me more thankful to the Lord that all 11 of us made it down and back with no issues. I could not even imagine that sort of thing happening with 8 young adults/teenagers (and Pete and Rob). I hope you have a fruitful trip. Hugs to all
